What the hell you doing buying BCAAS at 14 anyways? I rarely buy that stuff cause I would rather see you buying real food in the long run! Don't forget its suppose to supplement a GOOD diet rich in REAL food! If you don't have that part locked down it's a waste of money.
If anything I'd be only using some whey protein and some carbs like maltodextrin, waxy maize, dextrose for supplements for before and after a workout or when in a quick hurry."
Are there long term effects of supplementing glutamine or BCAA or Carnitine? I've recently started taking L-Glutamine and Branched Chain Amino Acids for weight lifting and working out. I'll also be getting into carnitine when I start cutting down.
My question is, are there any long term side effects for these three supplements? And will there be defficiencies when I decide to stop supplementing (as the body will no longer produce, because it's been supplemented for so long)? And this brings me to another question (I've asked in diet/fitness category also), do you need to cycle any of these supplements?
And please, I would like to know facts and not just opinions. Thanks in advance!

Simply put, Amino Acids are broken down from proteins, so you will have those in your system no matter what if you have a good and balanced diet.
Those all work perfectly fine together. In fact, L-Carnitine is most commonly found in broken down proteins with L-Glutamine (among 16-18 other Amino Acids), not to mention that they are both separated in Protein Powders.
All of them are perfectly healthy for you to take, and it's actually better to have a little bit of them in your diet from some source."
Can I use BCAA and PowerPump 250 at the same time? I have recently started going to the gym, to gain weight and muscle. I am using CytoSport CytoGainer and am looking to buy BCAA and PowerPump 250. Upon reading the description and uses of both, they both have similar effects.
So, would it be bad/stupid/usless to use both at the same time? Any answers/ thoughts would be appreciated.

superpump already has some bcaa so u dont need to take extra bcaa before
u can take the bcaa's in a water bottle and zip it through out ur workout and take it again after ur workout with cytogainer
if done this way soreness should drasticly decrease which is good because it means ur muscles are fully healed"

what should be my BCAA dosage? After some research i decided to buy some bcaa pills.
I bought Optimum Nutrition BCAA 1000, but i guess i didnt do enough research becuase i didnt realize you have to take A LOT of pills for it tohave effect.

Should i keep taking Scivation Xtend (bcaa powder) it gives me great energy for lifting weights but the? problem is that it causes me anxiety, as soon as i start drinking the shake and during my workout. It has a warning: says dont take if you have anxiety and i think i have a little bit of anxiety problem already. but i like the effects but it does compete with some neurotransmitters in the brain to stop fatigue and give you energy for workout, and that causes anxiety. Should I stop or keep taking it? I only took it once and didn't like the anxiety i had from it at all.
should i just tough it out with my anxiety?? and take the product lol

mollyflan replied: "Try cutting back on the dosage that you are taking. Some people are super sensitive to Scivation Xtend. If you still have problems with anxiety after cutting back on the dosage you need to consider not taking it. Any adverse reaction to it means to discontinued use."

When should one take Amino Acid before work out or after ? Also L-Gltamine powder.? I bought the Amino Acid BCAA 2200 gel capsules. It says to take 4 after workout and for before work out for better result. The girl who sold it to me said I should take one before work out. what is the best intake on that one. The L-glutanmine which is different from glucosamin i guess is suppose to be for muscle replenishment?
One last, Creatine , is there any side effect to that and when should that be taken. I did nt take it some 10 years ago because of the side affect rumors but since a lot of people are taking it and still in the market i am thinking i should as well. I have been working out for few years on and off and no results.
